BIM Modeler / Calculator M/V
As a modeller/calculator we want you to help us build our unique concept. The position that is created, is meant for an enthusiastic employee who loves to draw projects in the execution phase (3D). In addition to the drawing work, you are looking for more expansion in your new position and this is possible within Microbeton! As an extension of the modelling work you make stretch states and make calculations from the drawing or model.
Your sense of responsibility, analytical approach and excellent accuracy are decisive for the proper execution of the function.
We are Microbeton, located on the site of Concrete Valley. With lightweight concrete solutions, Microbeton is an extraordinary player in the market. Unique about Microbeton is the way it is organised. From design to installation, Microbeton is involved in the development of a new special concrete concept. Microbeton is in development and that calls for a new team member who has an architectural background and takes a secure approach.
Can we inspire you too? Then there is a fantastic challenge waiting for you at Microbeton!
What does your day look like?
Around 08:00 you arrive at the office and start your working day with a good cup of coffee. By 08:30 everyone will be in and you will come together for internal consultation. Together with the team, you will discuss the current projects, the obstacles and of course the successes will be shared. From 09:00 you will start drawing and modelling from the supplied information. You will make statements for calculations and will receive drawings or models from the client. At 11:15 am you will need some extra energy and choose some fruit from the basket which will be freshly placed on your desk every day. At the same time, you consult with the structural engineer about current projects that are in the engineering phase. Around 12:30 it’s time for a sandwich! You can enjoy it with all your colleagues from Concrete Valley in the canteen. A fixed topic during the breaks are the results from the Eredivisie, but also a lively discussion on a topical subject is not avoided. At 13:30 you have a call appointment with the client because some questions arose during the engineering process. You end the day with a short consultation about the more and less work that came up during the engineering phase. Together with your colleague, you draw up a budget for this and you inform the customer of what additional and less work is expected. Around 17:00 hours you close your laptop and leave for home.
What else is important to us?
- Completed degree in architecture (MBO/HBO);
- Experience with Autocad;
